Goal | My goal is to be able to provide an additional component of monitored independent reading within the classroom through interactive, engaging eBooks at the students "just right" level. This will significantly expand the topics and stories that our current classroom library contains creating more excitement for reading! This also provides additional means to differentiate reading within the classroom walls and beyond. |
Description | Kids access their leveled text through an interactive learning portal designed to keep them motivated and engaged. Every eBook is available in online and mobile formats, and allows students to listen to, read at their own pace, and record themselves reading. This gives the teachers an additional opportunity to assign, monitor, and assess students' reading a their independent levels. |
Benefits | By fostering home-school connections and giving students a variety of books to read at their grade-appropriate level, Raz-Kids has what's needed to monitor students’ progress and improve their literacy skills. With options for independent reading practice and assessment, Raz-Kids is a valuable resource for both teachers and students!
