Goal

I would like to be able to purchase 5-6 motion and distance detectors to use with Pre-Algebra and Algebra students at HOMS so that students can experience making distance vs time graphs in a real-world setting.

Description

Students will be able to use the CBR-2s to create various graphs using the distance detectors along with TI-84 software.

Benefits

Students will be able to gain a deeper understanding of what the graphs they are creating in Math class are representing. They will physically be able to move around in the classroom and see how those movements would be displayed on a graphing calculator.
