Goal

I would like to have author Mat Heagerty come speak to the student of IMS about overcoming dyslexia and other reading issues to not only master reading but become a successful author/graphic novelist.
Description

He will present a whole day day to several different classes that have struggling readers. He will talk about how our differences can really be strengths. Each session is 45 minutes. If I am not able to receive full funding, but have $950, I can book for half a day.
Benefits

Students can see how their difficulties can be overcome and witness the testimony of a successful author who had similar struggles. They will see the light at the end of the tunnel and realize that there is more hope for them than they thought.
